Our very first visit to Costa Rica was in the year 2000. This is where my husband and I say we “fell in love”. Not only did we fall in love with each other, but we also fell in love with the country. Throughout our exploration of the country, we finally decided that we truly enjoyed the Tamarindo and Playa Langosta area due to the incredible combination of sport fishing, surfing, beautiful beaches and sunsets, restaurants and many of the conveniences we are accustomed to in the USA. We have watched Tamarindo and Playa Langosta thrive and develop over the past few years, and continue to love the area. My husband’s brother (William) is currently living in Playa Langosta and managing our vacation rentals. He is wonderful at welcoming our guests and handling any situations that arise. My family grew up in Florida so we have been fishing for most of our lives. Since i moved to Key West in 2002 I really started to get more and more into big game fishing. It was just not enough to just catch fish, i began to dream of catching bigger fish. The best place to do that was Costa Rica. I heard tales of monster Marlin, Sailfish and Yellowfin Tuna. After chartering many boats and catching many big fish I decided i needed my own boat in Costa Rica. My brother William agreed to captain the boat and here we are today. We love fishing, we love catching, we love eating the fish we catch. We release all billfish but we can make some of the best sushi u have ever had if u catch a yellowfin tuna. My brother is a trained sushi chef and apprenticed at a famous sushi restaurant in Key West. Many of my best friends are Charter captains and may be captaining the boat or mating on the Wasabi.
